Travel advising today requires more than destination knowledge. Our advisors use a variety of systems to manage client communication, bookings, forms, payments, training, and agency resources. You do not need to be a technology expert, but you should feel comfortable learning new platforms, following digital processes, troubleshooting basic issues, and taking initiative when something is unfamiliar. We provide support and training, but we’re looking for advisors who are willing to engage with the tools that help us serve clients well and keep the agency running smoothly.

We believe in being transparent about what it costs to build your business with Heirloom. Our goal is to keep our fees straightforward while providing advisors with the technology, systems, support, and agency resources they need to operate professionally and serve their clients well.
Monthly Technology Fee
This fee helps cover the tools and systems provided through Heirloom, including Tern, your agency email, communication platforms, training resources, and access to our advisor portal and agency systems.
Commission Structure
Advisors earn commission based on their contracted commission level with Heirloom. Your commission split, payment schedule, and expectations are clearly outlined before you join so you understand exactly how compensation works.
What’s Included
Your affiliation with Heirloom includes access to agency systems and resources, supplier relationships, training opportunities, leadership support, Errors & Omissions coverage, community support, and the infrastructure needed to operate your travel business under the Heirloom umbrella.
Additional Business Expenses
Because you are building your own business, there may be additional expenses you choose to take on, such as business cards, marketing, optional training or events, travel for professional development, or other tools you decide to use. We work hard to keep required agency costs clear and predictable.

We want advisors to understand the financial side of joining Heirloom before making a commitment. Any required fees, commission arrangements, and ongoing expectations are discussed upfront so you can decide whether Heirloom is the right fit for your business.
